VOTE NO ON THE ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN!

Whereas: My right to keep and bear arms is a God-given right — protected, not granted, by the Second Amendment; and

Whereas: S. 1531 and H.R. 3115 would criminalize law-abiding citizens for owning AR-15s, 30-round magazines, and other common firearms; and

Whereas: Disarming the people does not stop violence — it only emboldens criminals and invites government tyranny; and

Whereas: Once these bans are in place, registration and confiscation are the next steps — as history has proven time and again;

Therefore: I insist you VOTE NO on S. 1531 and H.R. 3115. If you betray gun owners now, we will remember at the ballot box.
