In the early hours of the morning, HB 5855 / SB 2226 was passed through the Illinois House by a vote of 64-43.
Traitor Republican state Rep. Jim Durkin voted alongside Democrats to pass the bill.
There were slight changes to the tyrannical bill, “allowing the legal age of gun ownership to remain at 18, and adjusting the high-capacity magazine ban to kick in at 12 rounds instead of 10.”
But still, the bill is HORRIFIC, and we need you to continue putting pressure on at the Capitol today, where a vote could happen in the Senate.
