On Tuesday, Joe Biden fired acting ATF Director Marvin Richardson after a NY Times report indicated Richardson was far too “industry-friendly.”
You could have fooled us!
Biden replaced him with left-wing, anti-gun U.S. Attorney Gary Restiano, who’s wife worked for former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano during the ATF’s “Fast & Furious” gun-smuggling scandal over a decade ago.
You and I know exactly what’s going on here — gun-grabbers are pressuring Biden to clean house and go all-out to implement his freshly-signed gun control Executive Orders.
Anyone not moving fast enough is gone, and that’s what happened to Richardson.
Of course Restiano is just a placeholder for Biden’s newly-chosen nominee for ATF Director, gun-grabber Steve Dettelbach.
Word on Capitol Hill is that the White House and Senate Democrats want Dettelbach’s hearings to take place in the next few weeks, and confirmed within a month.
GUN OWNERS CAN STOP HIM!
But it’s going to take sustained grassroots pressure on members of the U.S. Senate, particularly Republicans, who heeded your call last summer to stop anti-gun wacko David Chipman.
