Ever since Congress passed the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990, cold-blooded murderers have specifically targeted students and staff because they know that NO ONE in these criminal safe zones can stop them.
Congress created these death traps over 30 years ago, unleashing a number of high-profile copycat shootings, which the gun-grabbers and fake news media use in their never-ending P.R. campaigns to eliminate our Second Amendment rights.
Long gone are the days where one might see a student or even a teacher pull up in their truck with a rifle or shotgun hanging in the back window.
It’s a different America these days, one made far more dangerous because of the action Congress took in 1990.
Now, with Republicans in control of Congress, but still always seemingly on the defense when it comes to our gun rights, it’s time to put up or shut up.
That’s why I’m pleased to announce that Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky has just introduced the Safe Students Act (H.R. 2502)!
H.R. 2502 would totally REPEAL the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 (and subsequent amendments to that Act)!
