This morning AFA is in court alongside our state affiliate, the New York State Firearms Association, going head to head with anti-gun New York Governor Kathy Hochul, challenging the constitutionality of the gun control bill she signed into law last year.

We’ve been preparing for this for almost six months.

There are three possible outcomes at the conclusion of oral arguments today.

We might win everything; in which case all of last year’s gun control law would be reversed.  If that happens, no further action will be needed.

We might lose everything; in which case this case will most certainly need to be appealed to the United States Supreme Court for further review.

We might win a partial victory; in which some of Hochul’s gun control law is reversed, but not all of it.  If that happens, this case will need to be heard by the Supreme Court.

Of the three of these possible outcomes, the last one is the most likely in the opinion of our legal team.

There are three things that you can do to help us fight in court today — and to help us as this legal battle wages on in the months ahead.

First, make an immediate donation to AFA’s legal defense fund to make sure that our lawyers can fight like hell for you!

Second, read our Amicus Brief and share it with every gun owner you know.  Your donations produced this brief, and it brutally attacks Hochul’s gun control.

Third, encourage every gun owner you know to join AFA!

We’re fighting around the clock for the Second Amendment, but we are 100% dependent on support from grassroots gun owners.

Thank you for standing up for the Second Amendment!

For America,

Chris Dorr, President
